Goodwill Omaha’s April “Round It Up” Campaign to Support Nebraska Wildfire Relief
Goodwill Omaha is rallying the community to support Nebraskans impacted by recent wildfires through a special “Round It Up” campaign. Throughout the campaign period, shoppers at all Goodwill Omaha retail locations will have the opportunity to round up their purchases to the nearest dollar, with proceeds benefiting wildfire relief efforts through the Nebraska Community Foundation.
Recent wildfires across Nebraska have caused significant damage to homes, land, and livelihoods, leaving many individuals and families in urgent need of support. Funds raised through this campaign will go directly toward relief and recovery efforts coordinated by the Nebraska Community Foundation, who established the Nebraska Wildfire Recovery Fund to provide direct support to affected individuals and families.
“At Goodwill Omaha, our mission is rooted in strengthening our community,” said Tobi Mathouser, President & CEO of Goodwill Omaha. “When our neighbors are facing hardship, it’s important that we come together. This campaign makes it easy for anyone to make a meaningful impact with just a few cents at checkout.”
The Round It Up campaign will run from April 1 through April 30, 2026, at all Goodwill Omaha locations. Every small contribution adds up providing critical resources such as emergency assistance, rebuilding support, and long-term recovery efforts for those affected.
“Nebraskans take care of each other, it’s who we are,” said Jeff Yost, President & CEO of Nebraska Community Foundation. “The Nebraska Wildfire Recovery Fund is a way for us to take care of our fellow Nebraskans and help them turn the lessons of this tragedy into investments toward a more resilient, adaptable, brighter future. We are so grateful to Goodwill Omaha and its customers for their support in building stronger communities and a Greater Nebraska.”
Customers can participate by simply choosing to round up their total purchase at checkout.
