Goodwill Rounds it Up for Generation Diamond

Goodwill Omaha is proud to announce the next organization of its Round It Up campaign, Generation Diamond. Generation Diamond aims to make a significant impact on the lives of individuals a transformative program dedicated to helping young adults unlock their full potential.=

Generation Diamond, empower adults who are 19 and older through transitional programs and services to succeed in building a secure and stable future. They assist with immediate needs after significant disruptions and offer longer-term programs that provide intentional support, direction and hope. We believe everyone deserves a chance. And then another.

Goodwill Omaha recognizes the invaluable impact of Generation Diamond and is committed to supporting its mission. The “Round It Up” campaign encourages Goodwill customers and community members to round up their purchases to the nearest dollar at any Goodwill Omaha store location. Every cent collected through this campaign will go directly to funding scholarships and resources for Generation Diamond participants.

Tobi Mathouser, CEO of Goodwill Omaha, expressed her enthusiasm for the campaign: “We are excited to partner with Generation Diamond to help them provide individuals with the resources and opportunities they need to succeed personally and professionally. By simply rounding up your purchase at Goodwill, you can play a vital role in shaping the future of these individuals and our community.”

The “Round It Up” campaign will run from October 1 to October 31 at all Goodwill Omaha locations throughout the Omaha Metro. To participate, customers need only to inform the cashier that they would like to “Round It Up” when making their purchases. Donations will directly support Generation Diamond’s educational programs, mentorship initiatives, and career development resources.

By supporting the “Round It Up” campaign, community members can make a lasting impact on the lives of young adults striving to achieve their goals through Generation Diamond. Goodwill Omaha invites everyone to get involved and help create a brighter future for the next generation.
